I am sure you already know how to listen carefully to another person. Now indicate the newsprint you have posted. Listen in a way that shows you understand how they might have felt. That means you will listen in a way that shows your partner you can imagine being them in the situation they are describing. When you listen to your partner, try to listen with empathy. The partner who listens to the story also has a lot to do. Tell them you will give the group a question for one partner to answer by telling a short story to the other partner.
